Father, I thank you that…

1. Mat 1:21  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

I have been saved from my sins because I am one of the people that belong to Christ

(Matthew 1:21); so, give me strength not to sin.

2. Mat 1:23  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

You are with me wherever I am (Matthew 1:23); therefore, give me strength not to set

foot in any place where you desire not to be.

3. Mat 2:12  And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Mat 2:13  And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

You provide me with warnings through my dreams of the things that I should and

should not do (Matthew 2:12-13); so, please grant unto me good peaceful rest and clear

dreams, recalling all details, that I may be sensitive to your direction.

4. Mat 3:10  And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

I will not have to be cast into the fire because all of my actions bring forth good fruit

(Matthew 3:10); therefore, Father, help me to cast down unproductive actions.

5. Mat 3:11  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

You have baptized me with the Holy Ghost and with fire (Matthew 3:11); so, please

help me to endure your purifying process for my life.

6. Mat 3:13  Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.

Mat 3:14  But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

Mat 3:15  And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

I yield to the authority of those ordained to perform in their lane of anointing granted

by you, because it becomes me to fulfill all righteousness (Matthew 3:13-15).

7. Mat 3:17  And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

It is your desire to be well pleased with me (Matthew 3:17); therefore, please give me

strength to know and to make choices only of which you will be pleased.

8. Mat 4:1  Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Mat 4:2  And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

Mat 4:3  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

I am diligent in my fasting and therefore able to withstand the temptations of the

enemy (Matthew 4:1-4); so, Father, please strengthen me to persevere through my

fasting, so that I can withstand the enemy’s temptations.

9. Mat 4:6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Mat 4:7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

When the enemy uses your word out of context or misquotes its meaning, I am sharp and able to reply with your word in right use and context (Matthew 4:6-7).

10. Mat 4:8  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Mat 4:9  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Mat 4:10  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

When I am exposed to the glory of the things in this world, and presented with them for a price, I am able to stand strong on the certainty of what your word declares (Matthew 4:8-10).

10. Mat 4:8  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

11. Mat 4:16  The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Mat 4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

My life is a representation of light to those who sit in darkness, and I represent the kingdom of heaven here on earth (Matthew 4:16-17).

12. Mat 4:18  And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

Mat 4:19  And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Mat 4:20  And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

The same power that rested upon you rests upon me, that others are drawn to follow me as I follow you (Matthew 4:18-22).

13. Mat 4:23  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Our travels are limitless, as we go and teach your word and preach the good news of the kingdom and bring wholeness to all manner of people (Matthew 4:23).

14. Mat 4:24  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

As you bless us with fame, we will not be distracted but responsible to focus on healing those who lack wholeness (Matthew 4:24).

15. Mat 4:25  And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.

Followers of MilKe Ministries come from near and beyond as we follow you (Matthew 4:25).

16. Mat 5:3  Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Anytime my spirit lacks, I am reminded that the kingdom of heaven is mine and therefore I lack nothing (Matthew 5:3).

17. Mat 5:4  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Anytime I mourn, you will never leave me comfortless, but always comforted (Matthew 5:4).

18. Mat 5:5  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

The earth is my inheritance and all of its possessions as long as I remain meek. Help me to always maintain a consciousness of not being proud or arrogant, always maintaining a posture of serving others (Matthew 5:5).

19. Mat 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

As I continue to hunger and thirst for balance in my life, I will be filled with it. Help me to always maintain balance in my life (Matthew 5:6).

20. Mat 5:7  Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

I have cultivated a readiness to help others in time of trouble, and therefore you will always be there to help me in my time of trouble. Help me to become more willing to help others in their time of need. (Matthew 5:7).
